Danfo Bus

The Danfo bus is a symbol of (informal) public transport in Lagos and the most popular and cheap way to commute. The buses are a metaphor for the city's identity and spirit and therefore part of Lagos' pop culture. Rarely just yellow, but often featured with painted phrases, slogans, and decorations. Upon request for Lagos in NL, to honour their cultural relevance, my Danfo bus is now decor during their afrobeat music events in Amsterdam and Utrecht.
